Whoever thinks he will revive Islam by following Kuffar’s Deen, democracy, has indeed rejected what was sent to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.

KUFR of democracy is clear to a 13-year-old.
We have explained it on many occasions.

Today, we will evaluate the issue of the Islamic political parties those who associated with democracy.
But before proceeding, we must understand a few basic principles.

Part – 01:

Premise – 01: Belief in Allah requires the REJECTION of Taghut:

Allah said,
“And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], ‘Worship Allah and REJECT Taghut
(Surah An-Nahl 16:36)

And Allah Subhanahu Wa T’ala also confirmed the same in this Ayah:
“Whoever REJECTS Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256)

These two Ayat confirm that someone’s Islam is based on rejecting Taghut.

Premise – 02: What is Taghut?

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala confirms about Taghut in this Ayah:

“Have you not seen those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to REJECT it, and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.”
(Surah An-Nisa 4:60)

What does Allah say here?
From this ayah, we derive at least two key points:
(1) Taghut is the one who enacts laws and legislation.
(2) Allah commands Muslims to REJECT Taghut.

Premise – 03: Taghut means ILAHA:

What does Taghut do?
It makes Law and legislation.

But Allah said,
“He shares not His Hukum/ command/ Law/ Legislation with anyone.”
(Surah Al-Kahf 18:26).

So, what’s the position of Taghut with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala?
It rivals Allah’s right.
It claims the right which belongs to Allah Subhanahu only.
It places himself in equal status with Allahu Subhanahu Wa Ta’la
Meaning, it claims itself as an ILAHA.

And Islam is all about rejecting all other ILAHA.
Allah commanded Muslims to reject all other Ilaha to claim Islam and that’s what Tawheed stands for,
‘La Ilaha Illa Allah’ (Reject all other Ilaha except the only Ilaha, Allah)

Allah asked to reject His rival, for someone to claim Islam.
Therefore, without rejecting other Ilaha, there’s no Islam.
Without rejecting Taghut there’s no Islam possible.
Therefore, when someone associates, endorses, and accepts Taghut he sets partners with Allah and engages himself with Shirk.
Therefore, anyone accepting, associating, endorsing Taghut is worshiping it.
And Allah knows best.

Premise – 04: Understanding the relation between Taghut and democracy:

Democracy is a system that empowers people to make their own laws and legislations.
We confirmed from the above premises (discussions) that when someone makes a law (against Shariah) he becomes a Taghut.
Therefore, we can see that democracy is the creator of Taghut.
This means democracy is the greater degree of Taghut than the Taghut itself.

And we also confirmed that Taghut means Ilaha.
Therefore, this democracy is the greater Ilaha than the Taghut itself.

PART – 02:

Let’s now proceed to evaluate the issue of the Islamic political parties those who associate with this democracy, thus help existing this greater than Taghut, the greater Ilaha than the Taghut itself.

(1)
The SHIRK of Islamic Political Parties in associating with democracy:

Allah said,
“And He shares not His Hukm/ command/ Law/ Legislation with anyone.”
(Surah Al-Kahf 18:26)

Democracy is a process that is intended to place people in a position equal to Allah by giving people the power to legislate.
Thus democracy portrays itself like an idol.
Idol receives worship, the right of which belongs to Allah Subhanahu Wa T’ala only. Therefore, it is Shirk.

So is democracy.
People are empowered through democracy to make laws, the right of which belongs to Allah Subhanahu Wa T’ala only.
Therefore, whoever associates with democracy is giving Allah’s right to it.
Thus he is worshipping it, therefore, it is Shirk.
It’s a Simple Math.
And Allah knows best.

(2)
They introduced BIDA’A (innovation) in Deen:

Working to establish the Shariah of Allah is an Ebadah/ worship. And every Ebadah in Allah’s Deen has a guideline.

Therefore, working to establish Allah’s Shariah through democracy is a Bida’a, innovation. And anyone who does any Ebadah other than the way of Allah and His Rasul is misguidance and is for fire.

And Rasulullah said,
“Indeed, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst matters are newly invented matters (in religion), and every innovation (Bid’ah) is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire.”
(Sunan an-Nasa’i 1578, Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 2676, Sahih Muslim 867)

The KUFR of those who associate with Democracy, the Deen of the Kuffar’s:

Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam said,
“Whoever follows a nation he is one of them”
(Sunan Abi Dawood (4031)
(Classified as Hasan (good) by scholars like Ibn Hajar and Shaykh al-Albani)

Democracy is Kuffar’s Deen. A Muslim must know it.
The Islamic political parties associated themselves with democracy to establish Allah’s Shariah, no doubt about it.
But they accepted and endorsed the Kuffar’s ways.
They choose the way of the Kuffar’s.
They followed the Deen of the Kuffar’s.
Thus ‘they became one of them’.
This is indeed a clear KUFR.
They fell in Kufr by following the Kuffar’s Deen.
And Allah knows best.

(4)
Associating with democracy is an act of FUSUQ (rebellion):

“And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], ‘Worship Allah and REJECT Taghut.”
(Quran Surah An-Nahl 16:36)

This democracy is a system that intends to produce the TAGHUT which will make laws against Allah’s Law.

And Allah commanded Muslims to reject Taghut.
But instead of rejecting the process which ends up producing Taghut these ‘Islamic’ political parties take part in it, thus helping to exist it.
Thus they rebel (FUSUQ) against Allah’s command by not rejecting the Taghut.
And Allah knows best.

And Allah warned the Fasiq:
“But as for those who defiantly disobeyed (Fasiqoo), their refuge is the Fire.”
Surah As-Sajdah (32:20)

They indeed abandoned the way of Rasulullah:

Indeed, the case of the so-called Islamic political parties is like the case of the IDOL worshipers. Those IDOL worshippers have rejected the Tawheed of Allah, even though they believe in the ONENESS of Allah.
(Ask any knowledgeable Hindu, he will confess, that they Believe in the oneness of ‘GOD’.)

So, what’s the matter with the Hindus, the Idol worshipers?
How did they reject Tawheed even though they believed in the Oneness of Allah?
Why do they even worship idols in the first place?
It is that they thought this was THE WAY to get nearer to Allah.
But in reality, they have given Allah’s right to the Idol.
Like the Mushrikun of Qurayish.

So, It’s all about inventing A WAY other than what their RABB prescribed for them. (Ref: “Allah sent a messenger to every nation” (Surah An-Nahl 16:36)

The same goes for these ‘Islamic’ political parties.
They invent A WAY to REVIVE Islam other than THE Way Allah has prescribed for them.
Thus they help the system that claims Allah’s right of legislation, they help the Taghut to exist.
Thus they have rejected Tawheed even though they claim they believe in the Oneness of Allah, Al-Ahad. Thus they have gone far astray from Allah’s path.
And Allah knows best.

And Allah said,
“And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows a path other than that of the believers – We will turn him to what he has turned to and burn him in Hell – and evil it is as a destination.”
(Sura Nisa 4:115)

Tafsir Ibn Kathir explains that this verse warns against abandoning the path of Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam and the righteous believers. Those who introduce new ways other than the way of Islam will face loss on the Day of Judgment (Qiyamah).

They are the ‘caller from the gate of Jahannam’:

A Question.
When these Islamic political parties participate with democracy, do they reject the creator of Taghut, or do they accept it, and endorse it?
Indeed they endorse the system of the creator of Taghut.
Indeed they cause this Kufr system to exist.

Rasulullah Sallallahu Al’laihi Wa Sallam warned that
“There will be people calling from the gates of Hell; whoever obeys them will be thrown into it by them.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 7084, Sahih Muslim 1847)

Subhanallah!
These ‘Islamic’ parties are the destroyers of this Ummah. They make it (DEMOCRACY) look like an acceptable EBADAH to the masses of Muslims.

Thus we witnessed when the young generations, the day workers, and students were rebelling against the TAGHUT, the oppressive, unjust regime of Bangladesh, they were chanting for DEMOCRACY to bring Justice to the country. La Hawla Wa La Quwata Illa Billah.

We saw on videos, that they prayed on the open field and raised their hands asking Allah for democracy. Inna Ilaihi Wa inna Ilaihi Rajiun.
Had they known Democracy is KUFR they would not have asked for it.

On the other hand, Imagine the opposite.
If these Muslims knew democracy is Kufr,
if they had not witnessed any Islamic parties participating in democracy,
if these political parties did not make it acceptable to masses of Muslims,
they might have chanted for Shariah! Shariah! Shariah!
Allahu Akbar!
Qadarallah!
Allahu A’lam.

So, who made this HARAM and KUFR of democracy HALAL to the masses of Muslims?
These astray Islamic political parties, those who endorsed democracy by associating with it.
Thus they led themselves and the masses of Muslims to Jahannam!
And Allah knows best.

The wrong understanding of the Jaheel (ignorant) ones:

Many Muslims in their utter ignorance (Jahiliyyah) think that their intention is good, they know democracy is Kufr, therefore, they reject democracy but it’s just using the process to get to the destination.

These Jaheel Muslims ignorantly think that Allah knows the intention, Allah knows the heart. Therefore, He, the Most Merciful, the perpetual Forgiver will forgive their wrong way of doing it.
By saying this, they try to justify an act other than the way of Allah and His Rasul.

But they have no idea that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam says the opposite:

“Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds.”
(Saheeh Muslim 6437/ 34-2564)

Allah doesn’t only look at the heart nor only to the intention, He also judges by the action.

And also Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam said,
“If any of you feels drowsy while praying, let him lie down until his sleepiness goes away, because if he prays while sleepy, he may not know whether he is asking for forgiveness or cursing himself.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 212, Sahih Muslim 786)

By analyzing these two Hadiths one can easily understand that it’s not only the intention, even the words from the mouth as well as the action is counted in Islam. Your intention has to be in the same line with what you say and what you do.

Associating with democracy (the creator of Taghut) is associating with Shirk:

“And those who Reject Taghut lest they worship them, and turn to Allah, for them are glad tidings. So give good news to My servants.”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:17)

Here Allah Jalla Jalla mentioned those who out of fear of Shirk reject Taghut.
Therefore, we can derive the meaning that unless you reject Taghut, you might end up worshipping it, this is Allah’s warning, who is the all-knowledgeable.

Without rejecting Taghut the status of your belief might be what Allah mentioned in this Ayah:

“And most of them do not believe in Allah except while they associate others with Him.”
(Surah Yusuf 12:106)

And Allah knows best.

And therefore, here is our call:

We are calling all these Islamic political parties to disassociate with democracy and reject the creator of Taghut. We call on Muslims to reject the association with these Islamic political parties until they reject and disassociate with democracy.

Indeed, Muslims should not pray Salah behind them.
Muslims should not give Salam to them,
until they reject the Kuffar’s Deen and turn back to Allah’s Deen.
This is because we have established the points with evidence that they are indeed engaged in Kufr, Shirk, Fusuq, Bida’a and calling the generations of Muslims to Jahannam.

And Allah knows best.
We sincerely pray that,
Allah guides them to Haqq.
May Allah give them the strength to accept the truth and rectify their mistake.
May Allah give us strength to speak and stand for the truth.
May Allah guide us all to Siratul Mustaqeem.
Ameen.

(10) Basheera Wa Nazeera – A final Reminder:

We remind and warn all those who engage with these political parties which engage in democracy,
Fear Allah!
Fear doing Shirk with your Rabb.

And take the warning from the Warner:
“Whoever hopes for the meeting with his RABB – let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship/ Ebadah of his RABB anyone.'”
(Sura Kahf 18:110)

And also recieve the glad tiding for rejecting democracy, the creator of Taghut, as Allah mentioned:

“And those who Reject Taghut lest they worship them, and turn to Allah, for them are glad tidings. So give good news to My servants.”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:17)
