Seeking to be BETTER – Know the Types of Muslims in terms of Study of Deen

Bismillah! Al-Hamdullillah!

Looking for the Muslims those who are willing to be ‘Seeking to be Better’

You want each and every Muslim to study Deen.
You want each and every Muslim to consistently increase in their knowledge of Deen.
You want each and every Muslim, no matter how busy he is, should study Deen and
You want each and every Muslim, no matter how difficulty he goes through, should be able to keep studying Deen.
So you approach them.
You are looking for the Muslims with learning attitude, you are looking for the Muslims to form a circle of students.
You are looking for the Muslims those who can benefit you and those who you can benefit as well.
You are looking for the Muslims who will help each other by sharing knowledge.
You are looking for a Jama’a of those Muslims who can push you one step towards Jannah and move you one step away from Jahannam.
You are looking for the Muslims those who are willing to be ‘Seeking to be Better’
And yes, you found Muslims, you found many.
Those are the Muslims I will tell you about!

(1) There are those Muslims,

those who think they are Muslim, but they do not pray Salat.
If you’re to ask them “Don’t you know it is a must to pray Salat being Muslim?”
If you’re to ask them, “Don’t you know after your belief in “La Ilaha Illa Allah” the next thing is to pray Salat?”
They reply “In Shaa Allah”.
And these events of Questions and Answers go on and on and you end up praying to Allah to guide such ‘Muslims’
And how come you approach to such a ‘Muslim’ for inviting him to study and increase in knowledge of Deen when they do not even pray Salat to begin with?
Therefore, leave those ‘Muslims’.

(2) Then there are those Muslims,

Those who pray Salat five times but in the ways that suit to their desires and laziness.
They pray most of the times at their homes and they even make it a regular habit to pray Fajr Salat after sunset.
And they know, from what types of Ulema they follow, Allah knows, that you can pray Fajr Salat until 9 am in the morning.
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun.
And how do you approach to such a JAHEEL (ignorant) ‘Muslim’ for inviting him to study and increase in knowledge of Deen when they have already chosen to pass the exam with the grace mark.
Therefore, leave those Muslims.

(3) Then there are those Muslims,

those who do not want to learn Deen.
They think it’s enough knowing Islam, doing about Islam of what they have learned in their childhood, enough for their way to Jannah, enough to save them from Jahannam and enough to save themselves from Allah’s punishment.
In fact, all they know about Allah, the Most High is that “Allah is Al-Gaffar, He forgives again, again and again” as if they wish for a PhD by attending in a Kindergarten.
If you were to ask them, “Do you study Deen?” “Have you ever attempted to study since your childhood?”
They would so, “Brother, I pray five times, I help people, I don’t harm nobody, I read Quran (without understanding) but no, I don’t study Deen.”
But most of them do not know even proper recitation of Sura Al-Fatiha.
And what can you do about them?
You cannot force someone to bring to the class, could you?
Therefore, leave those Muslims.

(4) Then there are those Muslims,

those who do not get time to learn Deen.
They work 10-16 hours a day between 5-7 days. They have no knowledge that “Allah hates those who work like donkeys during the day and sleep like corpse during the night”.
If you’re to approach them, they would say, “Brother, life is getting harder day by day, you have to work hard to maintain your family, pay bills, I don’t have time to study Deen. And what more to study? I would never be able to become an Aleem.”
If you’re to approach to the well-off among them, they would say, “Brother, we are stuck, stuck in the systems. Life is pulling us so hard that we cannot slow it down a bit” In fact, they engrossed in shaping their pride, prestige and status without they being realizing about it. Even a death in the family could not make an impact on them to turn to Allah and study Deen.
And what can you do about them?
Therefore, leave these donkeys and corpses.

(5) Then there are those Muslims,

those who read a lot of the Quran but without understanding.
If you’re to approach them to read Quran with understanding and push them a little to try learning Arabic,
they would say, ‘We don’t have the Akl to understand Quran, Ulema has the Noor that Allah gave them, It’s not for everyone, Understanding Quran or Hadith is a thing for Ulema only. Do the Arabic people themselves understand Quran?”
La Hawla Wa La Quwata Illa Billah.
And how do you approach to such a DEAF and DUMB ‘Muslim’ (Al-Quran 8:20-22) inviting to study and increase in knowledge of Deen, those who already convinced that they don’t have the intellect?
Therefore, leave those ‘worst of the living creature’ who do not use their intellect. (Al-Quran 8:22)

(6) Then there are those Muslims,

those who read a lot of the Quran with understanding and they read Hadith too most regularly but they do not think of what they are reading,
those who learn Deen but only from the scholars of their group that they belong to.
They won’t study Deen themselves nor they would sit, listen or read from any other sources except from their respective Ulema.
But if you’re to approach them, “Did you think what you just read?” “Did you notice something in what you just read?” “Do you follow what you just read”?
They would say, “Brother, Our Ulema already thought about these Hadiths. They already set Deen for us, they already defined Shariah for us. There’s nothing to do after that, you just need to follow.”
And they are the best (!) of its kind, indeed in blind following.
They have leased their brain to their Ulema.
How can you benefit them a least those who want to remain a sheep?
Therefore, leave those sheep in their blind following.

(7) Then there are those Muslims,

those who learn Deen and they sit, listen or read from everywhere.
But reading something or knowing something other than what their Ulema already taught them do not have any impact on them.
They include of those who even completed such and such courses from an Islamic College or University.
Their Ulema gave them a whole ‘package’ for Jannah.
So, the day they have completed the degrees from those colleges and universities, they put the thing called ‘Learning Attitude’ to the grave for the rest of their life.
Therefore, anything other than what contains in their ‘package’ will pass through the passage which connects their two ears.
Do you think your invite to Increase in the Knowledge’ carry a least worth to them?

(8) Then there are those Muslims,

Those who are happy doing whatever Islam they are doing within their comfort zone.
They build Masjid, do lot of charity work. They perform Hajj often, pray Tahajjud most often, they do heaps of Nawfl Ebadah throughout the day and night and they engage themselves in lot of Dawah work too.
But they do Islam only that much which keeps every other things of life undisturbed, uninterrupted.
Therefore, whenever life offers some constraint, it impacts their Deen straight away, they squeeze the time from practicing and learning Deen.

(10) Then there are those Muslims,

Those who follow a method of learning Deen which is,
they listen and watch lectures, joins in Halaka, whatever seems attractive from a popular Shiekh or from YouTube or whatever Facebook offers them on the go.
There’s no plan, no goal for what will benefit them or what they need to learn, in which areas they need to increase.
Learning Deen is a kind of entertainment for them.

These are the kinds of Muslims in terms of study Deen.
Do you wonder, who are these kinds of Muslims?
Well, they are the Muslims of today.
They belong to each and every group.
You can find them in all levels of Muslims.

And then what about you?

Which group you found mostly common to yourself?

Finding an Ebadh of Allah is easy,
then finding a Seeker of Knowledge is also not that hard,
but finding one who is Seeking to be Better?
That’s like looking for a diamond in a coal mine.

May Allah guide me and guide Muslims.
May Allah give me strength to be strong on Deen.
