Bismillah! Al Hamdulillah!
There were people when they were asked who the earth and the heavens (sky) belong to?
They said, Allah. (Al Qur’an 29:61-63)
You will see Muslims today who say this.
There were people when they were asked “Who created you?”, “Who gives you provisions?”, “Who gives life to the dead?”
They said, Allah. (Al Qur’an 29:61-63)
You will see Muslims today who say this.
They did tawaf around Allah’s house (Saheeh Muslim), they used to do Hajj (Tafseer Ibne Katheer 30:29)
You will see Muslims today also do Tawaf around the same house, do Hajj to the same house.
They were a nation (tribe) called Quraish.
They believed in Allah and worshiped Allah, but they worshiped others, they took OTHER ILAHA beside Allah, therefore, they were called MUSHRIK, they were not called Muslims.
You will see people today who called themselves Muslims, believe in Allah (as Quraish did) and worship Allah (as Quraish did). But many of them go to ‘Mazar’, ‘Dorgah’, ‘Pir’ to ask for help (just as Quraish used to go to the idols to ask for help). Many of them sacrifice cattle for their “Pir” (just as Quraish used to do the same for idols). But surprisingly they still call themselves Muslims!
You will see people today who called themselves Muslims, believe in Allah (as Quraish did) and worship Allah (as Quraish did). But most of them follow the Laws of the Kuffar, leaving the Law from their Rabb. They put the Kuffar above their Rabb. Their every affairs of life (except marriage and death etc. few aspects) today govern by the Law set by the Kuffar’s assembly called UN. But yet surprisingly they still call themselves Muslims!
What do you think these Muslims should be called today? I’ll let you think, but meanwhile, I propose the name ‘Mushrik Muslim’ (though Mushrik cannot be associated with ‘Muslim’, but what can I do? Someone please think of an appropriate name).
Then, Quraish had their own system of life. They had their own social culture, and in their daily life they followed the systems made by their forefathers, (long gone was the ‘System of Life’ taught to them by their fathers Ibrahim and Ishmail) so they were called ‘Jaheel Arabs’.
You will see people today who called themselves Muslims and follow a System of Life, the Way of Life of the Kuffar’s, (other than what their creator has prescribed for them). Yet surprisingly, they call themselves Muslims. (Take yourself out of the sphere and think what they should be called now, but meanwhile, I propose the name ‘Jaheel Muslim’ (though ‘Jaheel’ cannot be associated with ‘Muslims’, but what can I do? Someone please think of an appropriate name).
The time those Quraish lived in was called ‘Jahiliyah’. Since today Muslims also doing the same thing, so what should this time be called, other than ‘Jahiliyah’?
Let’s now think, what’s the difference between the people who believed in Allah and the people today who believe in Allah? Those people who were called ‘Jaheel Arabs’ did not have a guideline or an instruction manual or a book to follow.
But today’s Muslim have a guideline, an instruction manual, a book from the one who created them. Yet they follow the system other than what their Rabb prescribed for them.
The mountains are about to explode, the oceans are pounding on rage, the skies are roaring on anguish. They have the ideas of the Kuffar’s, they have the lifestyle that of Kuffar’s, they run their life with that of the philosophy of Kuffar’s, their words of mouth is that of the Kuffar’s yet they call themselves Muslims. They think they own Islam because they were born in a Muslim family, while they took the Kuffar’s as their Rabb. Who then, are more Jaheel than today’s Muslims? Aren’t they more Jaheel than the ‘Jahil Arabs’? (Because they did not have a guideline)
O Muslims, Who do you take as your Rabb? Your creator, or the people who do not believe in their creator? Whose system do you follow in your life? The system of the Kuffar’s, or the system of your creator? Who do you take as your Rabb? Did Allah not give you a complete system of life? Did not Allah ask you “Am I Not you Rabb?”
O my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, who do you follow? Is Allah not your Rabb?
