Know Your Creator: Structure of an atom – You knew it but did you realise it?

Imagine a phenomenon:

So I know, when you are here, meaning, you are prepared to imagine, imagine the reality. Reality that you are not exposed on a daily basis but they are real. I invite you to have some strong imagination to understand these realities.

So, let me take you to a world of imagination to understand a reality which occurs inside every tinniest ‘grain of sand’ size object around you that you are able to see in your naked eyes.

To start with, I ask you to present yourself in a science show, not a typical one but in a desert like landscape where horizon is visible to you. A mircle of time, a miracle of the latest scientifc invention is about to display. A huge floating stadium is presented before your eyes in the air. And then you are taken on board of the stadium. So, please put yourself in a VIP suite of the stadium and watch the events I am going to describe you now.

1. A few marbles are set to circumnavigating around the stadium on their own. You won’t be able to see those marbles though. But it is important that you comprehend this size.

Therefore, in order to make it visible by naked eyes, let’s make it a football size. Now, since you made the marble to a football size what size can you think of as to the proportionate increase of a stadium? If it is not 500 or 200 times but at least 100 times roughly, right?

But again a football comparing a space of 100 stadium size won’t fit in the eyes, therefore let’s go back to marble again.

2. Put a few marbles (say, 100) in the middle of the stadium, and call it the ‘nucleus’ with all those marbles together. Let’s regroup all those marbles again and call a few of the marbles ‘neutrons’, a few of them ‘protons’ and a few of them ‘electron’, and this is what at the center of the stadium which you know as an ‘atom’. But there’s quite a few amazing things going on inside it and around it.

3. Those electrons run at 2,200 km/sec. At that speed, you could drive a car circling the entire Earth in just 18 seconds! Can you imagine how incredible that is?

4. We’re not done with these amazing facts just yet.
The mass of the nucleus is 99.9% of the entire atom. which means the marbles of the center of the stadium takes up 99.99% of the weight of the entire stadium, while that hollow space makes only 0.1% of the total weight. Why is this the case? The reason is attributed to the density known as ‘nuclear power’. Because of this massive nuclear power the electron cannot escape from the nucleus, and therefore runs around it. But what makes those electrons run at that speed in the first place? Where did they originated from? And where did they get their density from?

What do you think if you see such an object?
A technological phenomenon? A great scientific achievement?
Then what would you think about the origin of it?
Thousands of years of human advancement and hundreds of years of modern scientific advancement?
Let me then put such an object before your eyes and I ask you to think who and what is responsible for that object.

You already know these things though but I am bringing this only to give you a perspective you might never thought of, in the intention to grab the reality of it

Imagine the Size:

If you start cutting an apple, at some point you won’t be able to make it any smaller. If you start cutting any other things such as wood, stones or whatever, at some point you won’t be able to make it any smaller. But what comes after that? You can’t see it anymore with your naked eyes. You have to use a microscope in order to see beyond that. Then what do you see through a microscope? How much smaller can an object be? It could be more than a million times smaller than human hair. And when it gets to that size, it’s called an element. And these elements are made of atoms. Therefore, you can say, everything is made of atoms.

So, what’s the size of an atom?
A million times smaller than human hair. The diameter of an atom ranges from about 0.1 to 0.5 nano-meter. And what can make you understand the sheer size of that as closely as humanly possible?

Let’s take a grape, for example.
If you imagine the size of a grape as the size of the earth, then the size of the atom would be equal to the size of a grape. You got the information but did you understand the comparison? And even though you understand it but did you comprehend the comparison? Then what could really make you comprehend this? And that’s just only for the imagination of the sheer size.

Imagine the Design:

Now, Let’s try to understand the atom itself.
You can understand a design at a level which you can see in front of your eyes. But how can you understand the design which is a million times smaller than what you can see with your naked eyes? And then how precise and grand do you think that design could be? What system of operation could you imagine possible inside that tinniest thing? Let’s try that.

Remember the example in the beginning?
Imagine that the atom is the size of a stadium. What did we say was the size of the atom? A stadium, right? Then if the center is like a few marbles in the field of the stadium, what’s in the body? The body is a hollow space, the rest of the entire stadium is just empty. But then something moving around in that empty space is even more amazing! A few particles called “electrons” run around that empty space and orbit the “nucleolus” – those marbles in the center of the stadium.

Yes, a lot more.
Scientist knew for hundreds of years that these protons and neutrons were the smallest particles in the universe. But the amazement is yet to come. They now know that there are even tinier things in those protons and neutrons, known as quarks.

And do you know what the size of those quarks are?
Quadrillionth of a millimeter.
What could make you to understand how small that really is?
Perhaps by writing: 0.000,000,000,000,001 millimeter.
And do you know what happens if the slightest disorder occurs in these structures?
A complete chaos!

Who do you give credit to?

So, what can you do with this information?
Think and imagine deep and get to the bottom of it as much as you can.
How did this happen?
What made this happen and what is the ‘system’ that continuously make running all these functions with trillions and trillions of other things, both living and non-living AND keeping them in order?

What do you think of the power and grandeur of that Creator?
And then how can you remain unconcerned about that Creator?
And How can you live your life without pondering about the greatness of that Creator?
And how can you choose to disobey this amazing creator?
How can you choose not to obey his laws, systems, regulations for your life, rather you follow those who are same of your kind?

What’s in it for you?

O Mankind, what a honor your creator gave you, how proud you should be feeling knowing this creator has directly addressed you, knowing how merciful and kind He is to you, knowing He straight listens to you!

O Mankind, what more dignity it could be for you that when you think this creator in your heart He also thinks you in His heart! SubhanAllah!
How can you not love this creator?
How can you not feel humility towards this creator?
And How can you not fear this creator when He clearly stated His punishment for you?
Do you not shiver?
