Defining the People and Defining your Dawah Strategy

The importance of Setting the Course:

What is all about that we try to do here brothers?
Everything is about Dawah FiSabilillah.
Since we are putting a collective effort, let’s again match and combine our understanding on the things in the course of our activities we will be engaging in.
One of such things is, understanding of the people we will be dealing with.
You want to call to Islam but what are the problems you encounter in different types, classes and level of human being? You end up with wrong strategy with the wrong types of person.
Therefore, Let me define the types and levels of the people and how to deal with them.

Group 1: Those are EbadhAllah with learning attitude.

How do you identify them?
They always go for the best.
The character of these people are: they have attitude to learn and they are the ones have ability to teach.
This is the primary group of people who will be the key minds in our various projects of Dawah In Shaa Allah.
We will be targeting these people in the first attempt. Please keep on search of these characters around your Masjid.
Once you identify this type of Muslim brothers, invite them and include them irrespective of their knowledge and quality of Ebadah.
To grow our ‘business’, in times, these brothers will be the key people who will carry forward our Dawah In Shaa Allah.

Group 2: These are also EbadhAllah but they don’t have Learning Attitude.

They are happy with what they are doing about Islam.
Their character is, they learn Deen but only in their interested topic.
When you push them to learn Deen in its entirety they find excuses not to increase.
Yet we won’t leave those who among them are the brothers of the correct Aqeedah.
We will include them as a ‘supporter’ of our Dawah.
And we will keep them pushing, gently, everyday to increase and engage in a organised learning of Deen in totality.

Group 3: EbadhAllah with Learning Attitude but within their own dimension.

How do you identify them?
Their character is:
They are rigid in their blind following.
They will keep doing whatever they learned as ‘correct’.
They usually emphasis on 1/2 issues and ignore most of the other issues of Islam.
They don’t bother about anything other than whatever they have been doing. (Unfortunately most of EbadhAllah fall in this group)
Whatever way you place things in front of them, they won’t take from you, they don’t take from the Quran nor from the Hadith.
They only take Islam from their ‘Ulema’ who sealed off their brain in the first place by hammering two pegs into their brain.
And you know these pegs.
One peg from the top (1) “Ulema’ is the inheritor of the prophets”
(so they obey their ‘Ulema’ over the clear command of Allah Ajja Wa Jallah and Rasulullsh, without having the ability to identify who is the ‘Inheritor’ and who is the ‘worst creature’ among the Ulema)
And the second peg is from the bottom (2) “You can’t understand Quran”
(A misinterpretation they derived from the Hadith ‘You can’t interpret Quran by your own opinion’ to ensure the blind following towards their interest).
These two pegs are the killers of the Ummah, the origin of the misguidance and Blind Following of the Ummah which in Shaa Allah, we will discuss later.
Therefore, you need to identify these people very quickly.
So that you don’t have to waste your time by chasing them.
And remember, the Dawah is for those who wants to purify.

Group 4: This includes rest of the Muslims out there.

Those who claim to be Muslim but they are no where near to Islam.

Group 5: The Non-Muslims, those who yet have the room to learn Islam.

We will give you tools, In Shaa Allah, as to how to identify them.And how would you pass the message of Tawheed to them clearly so that you can stand in front of Allah claiming you did you job.And the

Group 6: The Kuffar, those who settled about Islam whatever they were fed or learned

We will give you tools how you identify them and save your time for making Tasbeah.And we will show you the way of Dawah to them too In Shaa Allah.

Know where you stand:

Now, not everyone is capable of doing Dawah to all the groups I defined.
Few could be comfortable doing Dawah only to group 1 people.
Few could be comfortable doing dawah to the group no. 3
or Few even could be comfortable doing Dawah to the group no. 6.
Therefore,
(1) Know your strength and weaknesses.
(2) Build your skills around your strength.
(3) IDENTIFY the type of the people you are dealing with and
(4) Work effectively and constructively.
