“Verily, they were about to tempt you away
from that which We have revealed (the Quran) unto you (O Muhammad SAW),
to fabricate something other than it against Us,
and then they would certainly have taken you a friend!”Bangla

আর তাদের অবস্থা এমন ছিল যে, আমি তোমাকে যে ওহী দিয়েছি, তা থেকে তারা তোমাকে প্রায় ফিতনায় ফেলে দিয়েছিল, যাতে তুমি আমার নামে এর বিপরীত মিথ্যা রটাতে পার এবং তখন তারা অবশ্যই তোমাকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করত।17:74

La hawla wa la quwata illa Billah.
What are you thinking about the Kuffar?
What are you thinking about shaitan?
Do you think they will be satisfied with you until they confirm Jahannam for you?
(May Allah save you and me from Jahannam)
If the Kuffar almost influenced and tempted your prophet, Sallillahu Aaihi WaSallam, then are you thinking of associating with the Kuffar but sitting in Jannah?
Is Jannah that easy?
La Ilaha Illa Allah!
See, read what Allah said in the next Ayah 17:74.
Unless Allah, our Mawlana, the protector, made Rasulullah Sallillahu Alaihi WaSallam firm and strengthen him, he (Rasulullah) would have almost inclined to the Kuffar.
Then, what about those Ulema who maintain strong associations with the Kuffar and whenever they get the least scope to relate to something, not in the Quran, not in the Hadith but in Seerah, they stress it so far, for example, Mut’am bin Adi, ‘Hilful Fuzul’, they use it to justify their relations and associations with the Kuffar by bringing this issue avoiding 100s of rulings in the matter of dealing with the Kuffar.
Watch those scholars mindfully, it’s very easy to notice when you listen to these scholars, especially the version of Seerah they produced.
How can you stay firm in Deen without Allah, the Turner of Hearts, will make you firm?
And how can Allah make you firm,
when you take the Kuffar as your friend,
when you follow the system of the Kuffar in your daily life,
when you engross in the Kuffar’s environment wholeheartedly with your whole family,
when you do not understand the significance of Allah’s warning to you,
that “Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater”. (3:118)?
So, my brother, you need to stay away,
stay away from associating with the Kuffar and their systems. (Al-Quran 18:16)
On every single chance, they will pull you towards Shirk or Kufr or in Fusuq.
The bottom line is, when you find that a Kafir likes you, think of you as a ‘good Muslim’,
know that you are not on the Deen of Allah that which will take you to Jannah,
Know that something you are doing is against the Deen of Allah.
Know that when the Kuffar please with your Islam,
You are not doing proper Islam,
you are doing a distorted Islam.
That’s when they take you as a ‘good friend’, when you practice a distorted Islam.
Rethink your situation my brother,
shaitan is working hard to take every single child of Adam to Jahannam except the one who obeys Allah’s command entirely.
And Allah knows best.
May Allah save us from the cursed shaitan
May Allah guide Muslims.
